Steinemann Disinfection develops, produces and validates automated systems for room and air disinfection. Our solutions complement manual cleaning and enable reproducible, measurable disinfection processes in sensitive and regulated environments. The technology is based on the nebulization of hydrogen peroxide into a microfine aerosol that is evenly distributed throughout the room and reliably disinfects both the room air and all surfaces, even in hard-to-reach areas. Common questions
Does automated disinfection replace manual cleaning?
No. Automated room and air disinfection does not replace manual cleaning, but complements it.
Thorough pre-cleaning is a prerequisite for the microfine aerosol to exert its full effect. In practice: first clean, then disinfect automatically
How long does a disinfection process take?
The duration depends on the volume of space and the setting chosen.
The fogging phase is usually between 15 and 60 minutes, followed by a exposure time of up to 120 minutes. The room is then ventilated and can be safely entered again.
Is the procedure safe for people and materials?
Yes, when used correctly. No one is allowed in the room during the fogging and impact process. Upon completion, the hydrogen peroxide used decomposes completely into water and oxygen. No residue remains, and materials are not damaged when used properly.
